Build a crowdsourcing tool for citizens to contribute to early detection, verification, tracking, visualization, and notification of wildfires.
SpotFire
our project is building the application that can help local communities. someone spot fire and then send the pictures or video that will be analysed and then send the feedback also to alert the people around that area.
What we built
SpotFire is a Web based platform, that allows users to post textual, images and video files and receive notifications based on the system and receive notifications. The system is a crowd sourcing tool which helps communities and users be aware of fires around their areas. Users can subscribe and receive updates.

Challenges
- Watson configuration was not friendly to us as it did have too many steps
- the IBM instructions were unclear
Conclusion
We hope to continue and finish up the project even after the event as some of the features have not been implemented yet.
