Running the app prototype.
Pitch updated.
Monday (24/10): The video general ideia was developed and we had a meeting to decide how we were going to record and edit the video.
Tuesday (25/10): Again we had a meeting to adjust our expectations and which elements of the app prototype would appear on the video and how the ideas should be distributed.
After organizing the ideas, we faced the data dilema. Searching in the NASA Disaster Portal we found the map that contains various informations about the natural disasters that we were studying. Some modeling was made so we could decide which place our prototype would be simulating the disaster and the informations that we shoul tell to the user.
2nd Step
After the challenge was selected, the group began to take what each member had in mind until everyone agreed on what the prototype would look like. We made sketches of how the user interaction with the interface would work, what items would be placed and what each role would accomplish.
1st Step
Teamwork began by choosing the category of the challenge. We chose the theme: "DO NOT FORGET THE CAN OPENER". Firstly, the concern with human life and also the fact that, in recent years, natural disasters have increased considerably, resulting in a variety of damages, both for humanity and the planet, leaving deep and sometimes irreparable marks.
In the vast majority of these occurrences, the person in the situation does not know exactly what to do and how to best act and deal with the circumstance, with this, the group believes that this issue is of great importance for help and support affected people.
