Have you ever wondered what is it like to be standing on the moon?
What The Fun presents: BRINGING THE MOON TO YOU!
We have built a Web VR app that allows you to explore the moon using an Oculus Rift. With Oculus Rift's touch controllers, the users can interact with the space objects. We intend to retrieve actual live data from NASA API so that the users have access to real time information of space activities through our VR app.
Not only that, the Web VR that can be accessed via any browser. This means that which means that you and your friends can explore the Moon together through this multiplayer feature.
Our aim is to create an actual representation of object positions from the Moon. For instance, users will be able to see the Earth model which takes the real relative position of the Earth, from the Moon, through the app. Live events such as storms / rain on the moon can be stream through the VR app in the future too.
