SpaceLaunch.io gathers flight schedules from around the internet and displays the flight schedule information in a one-stop source. The website displays the upcoming launches on the homepage and allows users to learn more information about the particular launch. For instance, you can find out where and when is the launch. Quick links pinpoint the launch site as well as ideal places to view the launch. Additionally, user can share their favorite launch pictures for every launch using Twitter. Future versions are planned to include more data sources, developer APIs, launch cancellation predictions, launch reminders, live streaming, and live launch tracking!
Team Throp Throp Grummie, a trio of computer engineering students from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, developed the website in flask and python for the backend and bootstrap for the front end. The web scraper was coded in Python.
