The people have spoken! This is the project that captured our hearts.

Since its inception in 2012, the International Space Apps Challenge, a part of NASA’s Earth Science Division, has become the world’s largest global hackathon. Space Apps engages thousands of individuals and teams each year across the globe to work with NASA data in the building of innovative solutions to challenges we face on Earth and in space. Diverse and collaborative teams of technologists, scientists, designers, entrepreneurs, and others work together in a 48-hour sprint to develop answers to some of the most pressing challenges facing planet Earth.

The International Space Apps Challenge was hosted in Port Harcourt once, in the year 2017 by Promise Johnbull and in 2018 will be collaborating with Tamunotonye Harry who is the 2018 Lead to organise the NASA Space Apps Challenge in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
