The people have spoken! This is the project that captured our hearts.

The Space Apps Challenge is a 2 day hackathon where teams complete

to build space-related applications. Participants of all ages and

backgrounds are invited. The event begins Friday, October 19 at 7:00 PM

with the Pre-Event Meetup, then continues from Saturday, October 20 at 9:00 AM

until Sunday, October 21 at 5:00 PM.

The Space Apps Challenge Pre-Event Meetup starts Friday at 7:00 and

ends at 9:00. We will provide an an overview of the event, an

introduction to the challenge, discuss the challenge themes,

and provide a quick introduction to the available data.

This will give you a kick start and ensure that you are better

prepared for the hackathon which begins Saturday at 9:00 AM.

  • Both technical and non-technical participants are welcome
  • Participants are welcome to stay from Saturday at 9:00 through Sunday at 17:00.
  • Participants are also welcome to leave and re-enter as necessary.
  • Minors will required a parent or guardian to be present while they are at the venue.

Food may be available for purchase on site. Other food choices are

available within two to three blocks of venue.
