Ground Support Crowd: Even your grandmother can support satellite telecommunication!

Why?

Increasing amount of educational satellites launched every year. Telecommunications is done by one or few designated support station, which is not able to cover all the needs. So the main problem is that Limited support from the ground for student satellites telecommunication; increasing amount of information needed to be download.

Mission statement:

Make space related projects ground support activities supportable by all earthlings who are interested in it without having any previous knowledge about the industry.

The solution:

Mobile Ground Station Support Network:

• Android app
• USB OTG SDR
• Antenna
• Signal amplifier (NASA patent)
• Database

Future activities:

• Develop portable antenna which uses the amplifier and has enough power to receive the signal from a satellite
• Finalize the website and application
• Finalize the data transmission in the backend
