Save The Woods is an app which helps prevent and spread awareness about wildfires.
Save The Woods was a very interesting project to code! I had to use three separate servers (one apache, two Google Compute instances), the Firebase API, Google DataStore, and the Google Maps API to complete it. There were a lot of different challenges to overcome, including how to deliver the data NASA provides, how to handle logins and track user points, etc. The data used is the data from NASA's 24h VIIRS 375m algorithm/sensor.
