Space Apps Challenge 2018

Some times we get lost that's ok, but what do you do if you can't find a way out of a lifetreatening situation, like a wildfire.

With NASA satellites and the FIRMS software autorities are already able to have realtime information of almost any large wildfire occurring. Still there are to many fires happening how can you prioritise.

And what if you can't fight the fire? how do you save people in the area? where are they? how do you find them?

That why we made FireChain an app the helps firefighters find people in danger.

We let people report early fires. And doing so we learn much more then where is a fire , we learn where are people at risk.

Than we can geolocate al these people. Let firefighters know where they are and even set rescue points on the map and inform people of this rescue points through push notifications and in map info.

Even with no internet you can still know at leat where you should go.
