1. SOLUTION

Where the fire is, we'll get there first!

Our platform has the advantage of being thought to solve the real problems:

  • Correct lives on risks, then save lives;
  • Reduction of false alarms;
  • Validation and qualification of NASA data;
  • Reduction of the response time of the brigadistas;
  • Communication during a combat operation;
  • Registration of useful information, such as: water bodies, waves and critical areas;
  • Creation of a database to: prevent, plan, optimize resources, identify patterns of occurrence.
  • 2. DETAILING

    2.1 PROTOTYPE PRESENTATION

    Our solution is to solve the following real problems:

  • EARLY / ALERT DETECTION: Residents near fire outbreaks are alerted, based on information from NASA satellites;
  • VERIFICATION: The characteristics of virus outbreak are confirmed in the field by the citizens alerted;
  • NOTIFICATION: How the authorities and information services in practice;
  • TRACKING: How features and a focus position are disseminated in a didactic way;
  • CONTENT: Reduction of the response time of the brigade teams, due to the urgency of calls by any user already in the visual field of the fire;
  • COMMUNICATION: Real-time connection between the actors involved;
  • VISUALIZATION: Appearing on the screen as information for the management of field activities;
  • DATA BANK: Data collected from the beginning are recorded for subsequent statistical treatments.

    The application makes the data requests from the FIRMS site (https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/)

    2.3 EXPERIENCE OF WHO US

    We have created a whatsapp group of professionals and firefighting volunteers in the Diamantina region so that the functional requirements are accurate to solve the real problems of the fires and are fundamental for the validation of our solution and prototype tests.

    4. FUTURE

    An ideal solution in the future:

  • Ranking of priorities, based on the standards observed by Artificial Intelligence.
  • Mapping of vulnerable zones based on FRP (Radiative Firepower).
  • Activation of audible alarms in areas with low telephone coverage.
  • Coupled evaluation of low cost sensors installed in the field.
  • Generation of ROI (Fire Occurrence Log) studies.
  • An application of our solution for humanity:

  • Detection and early detection;
  • Reduce damage to the planet's biomass;
  • Reduce emissions of polluting gases;
  • Plan actions based on scientific data.
