The Challenge | Don’t Forget the Can Opener!

Create an easy-to-use way for people to develop their own, custom checklists – both items and plans – for specific kinds of disasters. Use NASA images, videos, or data visualizations to illustrate each disaster type, to help people understand how to prepare.

The most important thing is to know what is the right decision at the right time. Our project will help you to know what to do when specific natural disasters occurs through card, panels on earth or even sea, and we'll tell you your necessary supplies.

Challenge faced.

There isn’t anything would proof to you that you succeeded expect for how many problems stood against you. At first, we didn’t have enough experience in designing to design the cards but we couldn't find any good place which we would print our cards in, but when asked more till we found a good place. Then we thought about the cost of them, it will be very expensive to any country to print cards enough for their people, but then we thought than any country can use recycled materials for making cards, and that will save money and souls.

Background.

Our project idea simply is using cards which are put in the streets, squares, metro stations and ships to tell you what you should exactly do when a disaster occurs nearby you and what you should do after it to make sure that you are safe. We are also going to mention the supplies which should be prepared by people who live in an area at risk which you may need when a disaster happens. we had also put all the data which we collected together in a research paper and we printed it to be as a proof for our work.
