The Challenge | Don’t Forget the Can Opener!
when the Earth gets mad.
Our idea is to create an application that will help people by enabling them to have the knowledge of the disasters, how often it occurs and the actions they need to take when the disasters occur, and The application will also contain education program.
As we mentioned before. our project is focused on instructions and preparations that people should take before, during and after disasters. but we thought about adding some special properties to it.
First property:
Using technology exists to detect earth quakes, so quickly that an alert can reach some areas before strong shaking arrives.
Second property:
Using google maps within application to warn persons if the place where are exited in exposed or not.
The first challenge that we faced is searching about service to develop, run, and manage the property of earth quakes that we want to add.
The second challenge that we faced is working a lot and less sleeping that make us very depressed but we tried to manage. And we faced some problems when we make an app but we tried to solve it. Also, these properties that I mentioned before Not yet implemented but under implementation.
The resources we used:
- The data: we get date for the application from some pdfs and web sites
- Designs, logo and icons for application: we used photoshop and illustrator to design and edit them.
- To make an app the programmer used android studio. this program is used to make and android application using gave language.
