The problem that we want to solve is helping people become more prepared for natural disasters. During a calamity, the mind of a person usually gets clouded due to events happening. In this project, we aim to help address this problem by giving the users the info that they created during their emergencies and allowing them to locate their emergency materials quickly. We would add visual aids using a floor layout, highlighting the necessary emergency materials, creating specific cases during a storm and telling the user what to do. In order to present the information in a way that is easy to understand, we will be using a floor plan given by the user along with the locations of items and materials which the user might need on the map. When the user selects a certain disaster to prepare for, the items relevant to the selected disaster will be highlighted.
