1. The Challenge and/or problem:

Create a game using images from the Hubble Space Telescope as integral components!

Your job is to create a game using Hubble images

You can design and prototype a board game, a card game, a computer game, an app or virtual reality game.

2. Our solution:

Our idea is to create a card game using images form Hubble Space Telescope to educate children

Teach visually about planets, asteroids etc.

Teach them information regarding our system, planets etc.

Have fun

3. Rules of the game:

The game has 56 cards

The cards are symbolized by 14 different pictures

1 picture is placed in 4 cards

4 cards will be distributed to each player

Minimum 2 players, max 4

Same card takes the whole stack

The one that collects the least amount of cards loses and as a punishment has to read all the information regarding pictures

4. How to play the game:

Each player gets 4 cards

The game starts when the first player plays a card

We suppose that the next player doesn’t have the same card like the one in the middle, he plays a different card

Just like the second player, also the third plays a different card

The fourth player draws the same card as the previous player and takes the whole stack

And so the game continues until all the cards have been used

The player that collects the most cards wins

The player that collects the least amount of cards losses and has to take the punishment.
