Planet Crafting
Planet Crafting is a game inspired by the Hubble Space Telescope which uses its images to create a virtual environment that simulates the space; you can modify the chemical composition of various objects to observe different evolutional scenery.
Our team is made up of Programmers coming from Apple Developer Academy and Aerospace Engineering so we wanted to merge our competencies by making an App related to space. So we started by looking at every challenge and got engaged by "On the shoulders of giants" that deals with the Hubble Space Telescope and got really inspired by all the images recorded by it. We thought that it would be amazing to explore the space that we saw in the images, even better to interact with it. Imagine a kid that could interact with all the planets in space or even create new ones and see every single result; he will be astonished and get inspired by the project learning something new. Then we started working on it creating our first prototype.
