Develop a concept for a time capsule with content to educate an extraterrestrial civilization about human culture and our solar system.
Teaching Aliens to Cooperate with us
Use Rule 110 cellular automata to teach aliens our theory of computation and human behavior.
We remixed the golden record by adding Rule 110 Cellular Automata to it.
Aliens are almost guaranteed to be able to learn these eight simple rules. We make only the assumption that an extra-terrestrial being can tell the difference between matter and empty space (something and nothing).
With these rules, we can write programs, demonstrate mathematical models, and share all of human intelligence with extra-terrestrials. It could be a cumbersome process, but it is all but guaranteed to work.
