Albert Einstein once said "Imagination is more important than knowledge", Artify is developed for imaging the beauty of this universe in a whole new way. We believe "without ART, EARTH is just EH", and EH is boring so we decided to ARTIFY the EH.
We used Artificial Intelligence (AI) for two tasks currently. In AI, we specifically used Deep Learning. The first task we did was to colorize Black and White Images. This uses Deep Colorization method based on cross-channel encoder. This method produces great results as shown in the above video. The second task was to artify earth images which was done by using encoder-decoder network of Cyclic GAN. We show the results in the video as a desktop application and also on Android. The style of painting used in the Desktop Application is Van Gogh. Our results have a striking match to what humans perceive as Art and Color Images. We would further like to extend the scheme to generate Depth Images from Color Images. This is an important problem to be addressed as the cost of depth sensor is high and it is not commoditized as the color image sensor.
