MONDAY 22ND: SPACE APPS CHALLENGE 2018 IN PARIS

*It was supposed to be the day for a rest after the awesome hackathon but we have decided to keep talking all day of our "Gyroball" to prepare an other meeting on Tuesday! We love so much!

SUNDAY 21ST: SPACE APPS CHALLENGE 2018 IN PARIS

From 12.31 to 4.15PM : We were preparing the last detail of our presentation. So many work, so many things to say but not really a lot time for the final pitch.

4.22 : We started our pitch for the jury and in front of a great public. The room was full of curious people, sometimes some family or friends but for sure a lot of curious people. We decided to present it in english because it was very important to make sure one of the team member will be able to understand everything.

6.04 : The result from the Jury : The Gyroball Team won the 1st Place. The adventure is continuing...We were still not realizing after this long weenkend with a lot of work, we made it. We were believing in our idea because it was a very crazy hard work. The whole team is from different backgrounds and nationalities and we never met and we didn't even know we were existing in this world.

The best win is not the price is the knwoledge we shared together during an intense weekend to make our Gyroball a reality and our mentors were always available and great with all teams during the challenge.

9.30PM : We need a rest after this beautiful Space Apps Challenge 2018!

We would like to thanks all the team in Paris for their great work. We stayed to watch all the presentation! We learned so much!

We would like to make a special dedication to our mentors who share all their time to support all teams fairly.

9.52PM : Time to bed for some beautiful dreams around the Stars to reach Mars with a lot of Gyroball families...

SUNDAY 21ST: SPACE APPS CHALLENGE 2018 IN PARIS

-9.30 AM : Back to the Musée des Sciences in Paris for a quick tea and cake to make sure to get some nergy like the Gyroball with the winds.

-11.14AM : The lauched of our Gyroball from the Earth to Mars is done! The was so quick. In few minutes we made it. After giving birth less than 24 hours ago, we wanted to sent him to Mars. The landing was a success.

-12.00 : We have our first images from Mars... The mission is a success.

12.31 : Time to prepare the interview for the jury... An other baby Gyroball is on his way because we need to introduce to them... To be continued

Friday 19th/7PM (Paris time) : SPACE APPS CHALLENGE 2018 IN PARIS IS OPEN!!!

8.45PM : Make Sense out Mars seems to be a challenge with some success, many candidates. We decided to create a WhatsApp group to introduce ourselves with our competencies. We are aware we will need to slpit the group in two. We were 12 candidates from different background and nationalities.

-9.00PM : The doors closed, we have to leave the place.

Saturday 19th/1.30AM : We still have no team/ We all met on Friday night during 5 minutes (the time to introduce our name and to register our number for the Whatsapp Group

-9.30AM (Paris time) : A quick tea and a meeting to slit in two group. We put some ideas on the table and immediately some candidates have an interest for two main ideas.

-10.16PM : The Giryroball Team is born!!!

We are six people : Hamza (Ingeenering), Salma (Mathematician), Alexandru (Student speciality in Math), Moncif (Banker/Project coordinator), Leandro (3D Modelling and Luc (Mister FabLab)

-From 10.21AM to 12.38PM : We were developing the idea specifically all the difficulties we could meet to create our gyroball. And about the conception from the road map and the sensors we were going to set up.

-From 12.38PM to 1.30PM : Some decicisions were made regarding the material which would be use.

-From 1.30PM to 1.50PM : Quick Lunch to keep going on the project.

-From 1.51PM to 8.00 PM : The prototype of the Gyroball is alive.

-From 8.00PM to 9.00PM : The team are introducing their ideas so we did.

- From 9.00PM to 11.32PM : After a long day, Gyroball is discovering his first few ours in our beautiful Earth.
