Developing a Sensor Network System for Traversing Mars
Sensor network to detect and record readings such as Dust, Martian Weather, Martian Terrain, and Radiation which all present threats to human activity on Mars.
Our project aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Develop a series of way point devices that each report back key sensor readings to a main hub
- Each way point should be able to report back current conditions for it surrounding area and if conditions are "safe" or not
- The system is scaleable - users can use as many or as few sensors as desired
- The sensors would be modular - easy "plug and play" swap out
- The structure consists of a tripod frame
