The Challenge | Design by Nature

Design an autonomous free-flyer to inspect a spacecraft for damage from Micro-Meteoroid and Orbital Debris (MMOD).

IVE 18

Our vehicle does damage assesment

LIVE

The design consists of three main parts.

These :

-Main part

-Protection

-Sensors

When we created the design, we received help from nature, the organ that allowed us to see

We can use space gps system for this. The spacecraft monitors the visible x-ray signals and locates the vehicle. Then we can get this location information and flight route.

When our vehicle approaches to the space shuttle, it receives a 360 degree view by the agency of the cameras on the surface.

Image processing, we compare the data of the vehicle we have

THERE ARE A SCAN TO BE AROUND THE EVERY SURVEY, THROUGH THE VEHICLE, WHICH IS PREVIOUSLY AVAILABLE.

FOR THE ROTATION ROUTE THROUGH THE MECHANICAL, WE USED THE ATOM MODEL

THE ROTATING TOOL OF THE X, Y AND Z PLANTS LOOKS THE SURFACE THROUGH THE ALL SURFACE

MAKES DETERMINING DAMAGE BY USING THE LOADED DATA WITH IVE18 OWN DATA

THIS IS USING A MULTI-SENSOR AS LASER METER, DURING THE MEASUREMENT DURING THE DETECTION

WE GET METHOD OF GEOGRAPHY

LASER METER USED FOR DEPTH

IF YOU ARE A FAR AWAY FROM THE LIGHT, WE CAN USE THE SIGNAL INCREASE BOLDS TO STRENGTHEN THE SIGNALS.
