The first part of the second day started off really fast. First, we were improving our idea from yesterday, and we also came up with other solutions to some of the problems, regarding the construction and the functionality of the free flyer. We proposed a new solution to the thrust system for the free flyer. This system is very efficient, and more economic.
We also forgot to mention that we spoke to a dozen of mentors, and they all challenged to something different from what we have planned. As we didn't have enough time to do such things, we had to contact the people who are responsible for our knowledge for physics, our physics teacher. Surprisingly, or not, they gave us excellent advice on how to improve our free flyer and explained us some things that we didn't know.
Around 14:00 it started to get tense, we still didn't know what we should do, we don't know how much would the whole thing cost, we don't know how much time would we need to complete the presentation... basically, we didn't know anything. But, as a team we always have to have each other's back and we always have to support each other no matter what, because that's what teammates do!
We decided that it's time to stop waste our time on unnecessary things and to be more decisive.
But as soon as we decided that, it was time for lunch.

The second part after the lunch was going better than the first part. We decided that the ion thrust system is OK, we found 3D modelling mentors, made all of the equations for the propulsion system, the motion of the spacecraft, and calculated the possible cost of the whole thing. Basically, everything got right in the second part.
We won't write too much in this update, because we don't want to reveal all of the secrets, but we will inform you about the situation tomorrow, because tomorrow iissss PRESENTATION DAY!!!
It is also from great need to mention team Numero Uno, that supplied us with all of their cookies and a KFC bucket (for free).
I'm not really sure if they wanted to give us that bucket, cuz we just went there and grabbed it and left. Who knows if they even noticed that their bucket is gone???
Till tmrw babies :)

Today was a very productive and fun day! It was great to meet all the other teams and participants, and to see how dedicated they are to the work they do.
Our team was counseled by a dozen of mentors, to come up with the final decision from the many ideas we had. As we are very smart and enthusiastic youngsters who are passionate about everything and can not decide what to do, we came up with the idea of building a...
Hm hm, you thought we're going to tell you? Not so fast. You will have to wait until Sunday so you can see/hear what we've done, or break the clues we are going to leave in these couple of updates.
We also designed our team logo, with which we have problems uploading as our team picture on the NASA Space Apps platform, but it's totally fine, anyway, the world will know about us anytime soon.
Till next time :)
