The Challenge | Health Makes Wealth

Integrate NASA Earth science data and citizen science data to learn more about the connections between human, animal, and environmental health.

Open platform to follow your personal environmental data

Open platform to follow personal environmental data. It's associated with a powerful constructor that allows environmental organizations to share knowledge and challenge people to help them reduce their environmental footprint

Waterproof

Nowadays people use more than our planet can renew in the entire year. The day, then we cross the line calls Earth Overshoot Day. We use more ecological resources and services that nature can regenerate through overfishing, overharvesting forests, and emitting more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than ecosystems can absorb.

The concept of Earth Overshoot Day was first conceived by Andrew Simms of the UK think tank New Economics Foundation, which partnered with Global Footprint Network in 2006 to launch the first global Earth Overshoot Day campaign. At that time, Earth Overshoot Day fell in October. WWF, the world’s largest conservation organization, has participated in Earth Overshoot Day since 2007.

We want to provide a solution with our platform.

We provide a constructor for environmental organizations to share knowledge and keep a simple connection with people. Dozens of metrics now and thousands in perspective can be combined with conditions and other control elements into scripts.

Your personal data like health metrics from fitness trackers, energy usage and water consumption metrics from smart home sensors etc., can be combined with global open data sources about environment state.

Based on this data and preassembled scripts our platform can provide personalizing challenges to reduce footprint in the global ecosystem.

This example mix water consumption and NASA EARTHDATA to create a challenge about reducing water consumption during low precipitation period. This challenge can be applied each year on third of territory our planet.

In 2018, the Earth Overshoot Day came on August 1. We can #movethedate and receive some achievements!
