Space Debris Eliminator (SDE)

Space Debris Eliminator is a satellite which will remove various space junk from all sizes.

Go Greens
  • Laser

A high-energy pulsed laser beam will be directed towards an object nudging it just slightly, forcing the debris on a trajectory through the upper atmosphere, where it will burn up because of friction .

  • Net and harpoon

A net consisted of ultra-lightweight polyethylene Dyneema, which is commonly used to make mountaineering ropes will be fired towards the debris. Masses at the edges of the net wrapped around the target to make sure it didn’t break free from the snare. After its wraped up 4 thrusters located at the end of the nets will use presuriezd airs to knock the debris out of orbit. The satelite will have 5 nets equiped, with space for further resuply missions.

It will also feature a:

-ionic propulsion (It creates thrust by accelerating positive ions with electricity)

-LIDAR and targeting system a (Vision-Based Navigation)

-orientation system

-solar panels (for energy)

-laser

-net

-harpoon

-antenas and more…
