Design an autonomous free-flyer to inspect a spacecraft for damage from Micro-Meteoroid and Orbital Debris (MMOD).
Spacecraft inspection free-flyer
Automated drone using air presure valves to inspect the spacecraft once it's sensors sense a hit or impact. The inspection will use lasers to scan for the damage. The scanning will work on scheduled time and all automated.
Our teams background was very diverse (programmes, undergraduates, business students, law students, highschoolers). The challenges that we faces was using cameras for pictures was that small damages was hard to get inspected, so we switched to laser scan.
