The countdown to Space Apps 2018 begins!

The Space Apps GlobalOrganizing Team is excited to officially kick off the countdown to the 2018International Space Apps Challenge, happening October 19-21! Last year’s SpaceApps produced more than 2,000 solutions created by more than 25,000participants from all corners of the world, using NASA’s open data to improvelife on planet Earth.

This year's theme, whichinvites curiosity about our home planet as well as what lies far beyond it,gives you the opportunity to bring projects to life for a wide range of applications.Whether you’re focused on thriving in space— like FractalNet's 2016 Best MissionConcept solution, a communicative data glove worn by astronauts in subterraneanenvironments— or life on Earth— like Lemon Py's 2017 Best Use of Data solution,an app to help Buenos Aires residents minimize pollen exposure using data oncity trees— we are looking forward to seeing what innovative, creative ideasyou bring to the community this year. SpaceApps 2018 is YOUR chance to experience,experiment, and explore solutions to our universe’s biggest challenges!
