This year, places like California and Greece were hit with some of the most devastating wildfires in recorded history. But what if we could help people get out of harms way and get firefighters on the scene long before the wildfire became a massive threat?
With our web app, we use crowd-sourcing to allow users to report wild fires to a communal map. Using weather data, we can predict where there might be a wildfire and have people check the location to confirm or deny the existence of the fire.
We use Google Cloud Vision API to make sure the images a user uploads are of a wildfire, and not random.
