The Challenge | Spot That Fire!

Build a crowdsourcing tool for citizens to contribute to early detection, verification, tracking, visualization, and notification of wildfires.

Fire Detector

Our project is about two parts.The first one is sensors connection with Arduino and get values for giving warning on the second part (app) by using GSM when values rise the natural values because it will led to fire so we warn people to take care.

Quad copter will cover the forest in a certain area, carrying the group of sensors and the sensors will measure the temperature , percentage of humidity , co2 concentration if there are emissions.The sensor of the wind will detect the direction, intensity and speed of wind so we can detect the direction and the speed of fire.Then the data will be transferred from the controller system on quad copter by GSM. As The app is the receptor and processor,it will do the operations and if there are up normality in the input data compered to the normal values (without co2 emissions) then ,it will launch a warning sign (prediction). And if there is co2 emissions, then the fire is on ( early detection) . Our APP also can detect the location of the fire and the time when the fire reaches to the location of the user.

we met some challenges main one is one of our team leave group because he is tired. and also time we didn't have enough time to complete our prototype.
