The Star Crew has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!
Background:
Objective:
Spreading the word about Bennu is very important to us. That’s why we’re determined to do as much as we can to let people know about the asteroid, its benefits and the threat it may pose on life on Earth.
One of our main goals is to have our video be used by schools so that the future could be alert from the consequences of Bennu. If they get enough information about it, they could take the proper precautions.
How will we achieve this?
Our concept goes way, way more than just a video and a website. We want to go beyond that.
The internet is a great tool that we can take advantage of, and it is at its highest peak ever, considering the fact that students use the internet for everything, making it easier for us to inform them about Bennu, through an interactive app.
This app will briefly explain everything about the asteroid, sharing our information in a new, innovative way. Schools can help us out by recommending the app to all students, which they’ll surely check out.
In the future, when news reporters are informing people about Bennu’s near arrival, everyone will just sit back and relax since they’re already equipped with all the information they need.
And that’s when we’ll know we’ve finally achieved our goal.
Resources:
Challenges faced:
- With the time we had, we had to do everything in a rush.
- We do not have the same resources as producers.
