UL B Safe
A web app that helps you create a customized checklist for extreme situations. It is divided into categories of natural disasters and for each one there is an avatar teaching you about the chosen situation and helps you create the best checklist for you.
We are a diversed team from diferent fields all passionated about creating an impact. We choosed natural disasters because the pictures and footage of the fires in Greece this summer deeply touched all of us. We decided to find a way to help people make faster and safer choices in such situations. We used Nasa photos and videos to illustrate and raise awareness of extreme situatons that we can encounter. We used data from ready.gov and our connections in the fire department to create a prototype of an app solving the issue of wildfires. We see huge potential for further development of the app also for other types of disasters.
