Create an easy-to-use way for people to develop their own, custom checklists – both items and plans – for specific kinds of disasters. Use NASA images, videos, or data visualizations to illustrate each disaster type, to help people understand how to prepare.
DisasterMaster
DisasterMaster is a user-friendly, customizable disaster-preparedness checklist web application that aims to ready people for the inevitable disasters that lie ahead.
Our team built a web application using Flask to construct the back-end and using html, CSS/Bootstrap and JavaScript for the front-end. We worked on prototypes with SQL (SQLite and SQLAlchemy) and Google Firebase.
