The Challenge | Don’t Forget the Can Opener!

Create an easy-to-use way for people to develop their own, custom checklists – both items and plans – for specific kinds of disasters. Use NASA images, videos, or data visualizations to illustrate each disaster type, to help people understand how to prepare.

Naspot application Companies own a Satellite Individuals Passionate in exploring the phenomena Aurora Borealis

Flares

Our idea is targeting two segments of the market, B2B which relates to the companies that own a satellite that is orbiting in the space, and B2C which relates to individual who are interested in the Aurora, wither they are: researchers, travelers and astronauts.

The problem is related to the solar wind that cause a negative impact on the earth, for example: Electricity power cut, Interruption of communication, Satellite deflection, increase lightening and other natural phenomena like The Aurora.

Our solution consists of two main features, the first feature is targeting companies that own satellites, where the app sends a notification clarify the speed and intensity of the solar wind and enable companies to make informed decisions related to the satellite to keep it save. The second feature is targeting Aurora patients, where we provide a live streaming for the Aurora with a daily expectation related to its occurrence, and a map that shows all the places that Aurora would be observed in it.
