Remix the golden record in a different way
We chose the challenge to Remix the Golden Record because we believe that there, somewhere in the outer world, exists some other civilization that is more advanced in its thoughts and way of life than people from Earth.
On that purpose we think that the content of the Golden Record itself is totally unattractive to other civilizations because it does not contain feelings and some approach to what people actually are. It offers knowledge of the natural sciences and the magnificence of the music but without emphasizing the relationships and emotions on the planet Earth. So, in our short video we visualize where we are in the universe, our surroundings, nature, different cultures and the connections between people with a desire for new acquaintances and friendly relations. In this way we will show and inform them that there is other intelectual life form in this universe , and express intention for cooperation which is the main goal of our remix on the golden record.
