The Challenge | Artify the Earth

Use NASA Earth imagery data to create 1) an art piece, or 2) a tool that allows the imagery to be manipulated to create unique pieces of art.

MOON emoji ART

Make art work using the phases of the moon.

Space Species
  1. Open "Moon emoji Art"　　https://moon.dev2z.com/
  2. Select the image you want to Art.
  3. Press "Execute" button.

System

  • Load images
  • Make the image grayscale
  • Assign a phrase of the moon according to the color tone of the image and replace it with the emoji of the month.
  • Repeat steps 3 until every corner of the image.
  • Pictograms returned from the back end are displayed on the browser.
  • Use the JS library of html 2 canvas to make an image.
