Background
It's all about the journey. At the beginning we challenged our self to do something in Polar category.
Unfortunetly we couldn't make anything usefull with all the data provided.
We turned to something more accessible to maybe extend it further with ideas taken from the Arctic.
We created webapp that visualises aviable launch data on correlation to place. We used WorldWind which we tried to incorporate in Polar Opposites. It proved to be a great tool to show where rockets really launch from.
Resources
We used launchlibrary.net, open voluntary initiative. It proved to be reliable source of orbital.
We wanted to also include suborbital flights. We found great resources, but only had time to create some basic tools to extract this data.
