We propose a general purpose Space Autonomous Network. It consists of multisensors, self propelled, 720° live interactive view Drones that allow monitoring and control processes and resources through dual channel (Textual+Graphic) OPM interactive models.

SCENARIO




A 10m rounded shaped drone takes-off from the Moon Base directed to Mars with four Sensor Ultra-Equipped drones payload.

It is in charge of delivering the four smaller round shaped ultra-equipped drones on Mars in order to obtain requested information about soil and atmosphere of the planet Mars in support of CURIOSITY to improve a real-time monitoring process under development and necessary for humans are going to build a Mars Base, as they did onto the Moon.

Once on Mars Stationary Orbit, the Main Droneship releases the probes from a Mars Stationary Orbit (I don't know the altitude) waiting for their return and/or monitoring their activities and transmitting data collected if some communications problem occurs between the drones, involved Operations Mission Controls (OMS) and the Moon or the Planet Earth.

The four self-propelled drones exit the Main Droneship and reach the 4 poles of Mars autonomously.

Next, they perform all requested experiments and monitoring activities and provide involved Operations Mission Control as well as Humans "in situ" with a real-time 720° interactive live view of processes in execution and resources conditions.

Once the requested analysis are completed, drones go autonomously to their ground dock-station or they return to the Main Droneship to recharge batteries, refill air-compressed thanks ad save data about performed activities ad so on.

All the four drones are equipped with a wide set of sensors and mechanical tools as well as communications devices in order to perform requested experiments and complete successfully all monitoring operations without any help from humans.

All data, agents, processes and resources conditions as well as their consumption and availability are monitored through an OPM (Object-Process Methodology) based interface directly updated in real time by the drones. OPM's intuitive syntax, together with its dual channel (Text and Graphs) Graphic User Interface (GUI) widely demonstrated its effectiveness as system designing tool thanks to its easy to learn ad highly usable approach to system design, modeling and system complexity management across many different domains of applications.
