Design an autonomous free-flyer to inspect a spacecraft for damage from Micro-Meteoroid and Orbital Debris (MMOD).

Serenity Spacecraft Skin

We are working on a special technology to inspect a spacecraft for damage from Micro-Meteoroids. It is an artificial skin for a spacecraft, to make it "feel" the impacts.

Relative speeds of objects in space alows them to penetrate spacecraft shells, that causes great danger for astronauts. This make the task of location of cracs and holes so important.

We want to make a cheap and lightweight extra layer of spacecraft shell, which is capable of such an auto-inspection, as well as the skin of animal or human.

In this task we have faced problems of commutation, complexity of signal systems and many other construction issues.
