3D Object Parameterization
Aiming to use Convolutional Neural Networks to automatically parameterize arbitrary solids.
The motivation of the project is to make the task of 3D object generation easier for GANs. Currently, GANs face difficulty generating high-resolution 3D solids, so our hope is that we can find a way to parameterize these solids to reduce the number of parameters these GANs need to learn.
I would be looking for people with experience in data science / machine learning who are willing to work on a project that might not work! I myself have limited knowledge in the field, but I'm interested in getting more hands on experience.
